Frater Erich Ploog was initiated into Tau Kappa Epsilon at the Epsilon-Omicron chapter (Houston), where he served as Prytanis, Hegemon and Recruitment Chairman. He is a graduate of the TKE Leadership Academy II and helped facilitate three additional Academies after his graduation from UH. Under his tenure as EO Prytanis, Frater Ploog was named a Top Teke and the chapter was also named a Top TKE Chapter in back-to-back years. He later received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas. Today, Frater Ploog is a proud Life Loyal Teke member and has been a member of the Grand Council since 2019 when he joined as an At-Large Member. In 2021, Frater Ploog became Grand Hegemon and also serves on the Fraternity’s Board Development and Risk Committees.

Professionally, Frater Ploog is the Managing Partner of an award-winning and internationally published architecture and design firm based in Houston that develops bespoke projects for professional athletes, celebrities and business leaders from across the globe. In 2021, his firm was named one of the Top 100 design firms in the world by the prestigious Andrew Martin Review. Prior to this role, he spent two decades in the organizational change management field at consulting firms like IBM and Anderson Consulting (now Accenture), where he advised leaders of Fortune 100 organizations on strategic change and technology. This experience exposed him to the operations and leadership at world-class organizations like Shell, Toyota, New York Life, DuPont, Chevron, State Farm and Thomson-Reuters. Frater Ploog brings this unique combination of experiences from both corporate America and the world of small business and entrepreneurship to TKE. He’s passionate about encouraging young entrepreneurs to develop their talents and interests into successful businesses.

Frater Ploog resides in Houston with his partner, Ben, and enjoys adventure travel, art collecting and developing real estate.
