CAC Chairman
Michael Beals
Epsilon Chapter
Iowa State University
Frater Michael was initiated at Epsilon Chapter at Iowa State University in 2007 (E-2051). He has served as Recruitment Chairmen, Grammateus, Epiprytanis, and Prytanis. Michael is also a graduate of Leadership Academy XXII and served on the Elections Committee at the 55th Biennial Conclave in New Orleans.
Michael also stays extremely involved on Iowa State’s campus, serving in various leadership positions on the Government of the Student Body; his most recent being Chief of Staff for Frater Jonathan Turk, Student Body President. He also serves on the All-Greek Recruitment Taskforce, which is responsible for implementing plans to improve recruitment and retention for all of Iowa State’s Greek Community.
Michael is fortunate to share the bond with numerous family members; His father, Larry Beals; Uncles, William Walling and Kevin Lewis; and Cousin, Andrew Walling. It has been a rewarding and unique experience to share the choice that made these people, who all have had a major impact on my life, who they are today. Michael attributes a lot of his growth and development to his involvement with Tau Kappa Epsilon. It is safe to say he would not be the same person if he has not made the same decision his freshman year.
Michael resides in West Des Moines, IA. Outside of the fraternity, his interests include watching his favorite sports teams, playing basketball and golf, and spending time with his friends and family.
