Recruitment starts with how others perceive TKE on your campus; what is the immediate reaction of other students, faculty, parents, and others when the letters TKE are spoken? Zach and Garrett will walk you through building a strong brand, including utilizing social media, fostering relationships with other campus organizations, and promoting your chapter so that incoming students want to be a part of Tau Kappa Epsilon.

While your brand is important, building it up does nothing if you don’t have an effective recruitment plan in place. Furthermore, the plan is irrelevant if the chapter is not on board and enthusiastic to bring in new members. Join Fraters Greg and Victor as they discuss how to build and utilize a names list, develop a recruitment strategy, assign roles to your chapter or colony members, and ensure the full group is bought in to achieving excellence in recruitment.

Perhaps the most intimidating part of recruitment is the final conversation – the close. However, the art of getting a ‘no’ or a ‘maybe’ and turning it into a ‘yes’ is coachable and able to be practiced, and Fraters Zach and Nick will not only share some of their tips and tricks for working through objections and finalizing a new member’s recruitment, but they’ll show you how to teach the other members of your chapter to do the same.
