News en-us TKE Welcomes Alpha-Rho Chapter at the Univ. of Rhode Island This past weekend Providence, Rhode Island played site to the newest re-chartered group in TKE Nation. The Alpha-Rho Tekes celebrated their group achievement by becoming a fully recognized chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon International Fraternity. Founded in 1937, Alpha-Rho has a history at the University of Rhode Island. The active membership today shows the potential to be a top-performing chapter in Region 1 in the future. After success through St. Jude's free online fundraising utilities, the Tekes at Virginia Tech have passed on the St. Jude Challenge.
