In its current model, TKE Nation is divided into 4 Regions based on geography and balance the number of groups in that area. Each Region has a Regional Director (RD) who is the Chief Operating Officer of that Region. They are responsible for the undergraduate leaders, chapters, colonies, and interest groups within their region. The Regional Director interacts with campus professionals, administer ongoing maintenance of chapters/colonies, and support the expansion of new groups. For the first time since 1993, TKE has recruited and initiated over 4,000 new men for the 2013-2014 fiscal year. On average, the 271 chapters and colonies in TKE Nation recruited 15 new members this fiscal year. Tau Kappa Epsilon has grown stronger every year for the last 7 years. With the 2013-2014 fiscal year completed, Tau Kappa Epsilon has now surpassed 268,000 initiates. She has been fighting poor health for several weeks. "My mother was a very proud of Tau Kappa Epsilon and all that has it has done for me personally," said Frater Todd Farmer. "I'm very glad that we got to celebrate Mother's Day one last time." Jean was just 2 months shy of her 74th birthday. And a large part of what we do is educational programs. We are in the business of building better men for a better world, and one of the most valuable ways we do that is by supporting both undergraduate and alumni members with informational programs and educational opportunities. For many fraters, an educational program might be the first exposure to other Tekes beyond their own campus, and it is often a highlight of the undergraduate TKE experience.
