Expansion
Expansion is the process of starting new chapters. TKE is always interested in expanding to colleges and universities. In fact, we have two full-time paid staff members who work as Expansion Consultants. When they are working an expansion project, they stay on-site for 6 to 8 weeks building an interest group and helping it become a colony. When it becomes a colony, our Colony Coordinator and Regional Directors help it become a chapter.Sometimes a group of interested students will contact us, sometimes it's a group of alumni, sometimes we select the campus, and other times the university contacts us. Regardless of how we get involved, we start off with an initial assessment of students, alumni, and the campus. From there, we determine the resources available for the expansion project.
Only a few sites are selected each year for the Expansion Consultants, but we have plenty of other interest groups working to become colonies. Send us an Expansion Request if you are interested in working with us.
