Triangle of Achievement Scholarship

Gentlemen,

As it turns out, TKE and your school have formed a partnership to establish a chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon on your campus.  With this partnership we have decided to offer a scholarship - as a way to give back to the student body, to recognize and reward outstanding student leaders, and to better reach the high quality men we are seeking to lead this new group.

Beginning soon, we will be recruiting Founding Fathers for what will be the newest group in TKE Nation.  A Founding Father is a member of the initial group of men who lead us in starting or re-starting a Chapter. This is a chance for these men to build their fraternity and leave their legacy on the campus; a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. With our newest groups, we expect the best, and it doesn't happen by accident: we seek out and recruit the best. In general, we are seeking out men who want to be better men - personally and professionally, and who want to help make better communities in the process.

Unfortunately, there are many negative stereotypes associated with fraternities these days which pushes away many of the higher-caliber men on campus. From hazing and alcohol abuse to overwhelming time commitments and floundering grades, these over-exaggerated stigmas make our job a little tougher, but much more rewarding when we are able to find and show great men what True Fraternity is all about; brotherhood, scholarship, leadership, service, social fun, and everything you are looking for out of college but can't find in the classroom alone.

In our search for exceptional men, we will host the "standard" social events, information tables, and informational sessions in order to create awareness on campus and connect the men we find to be Founders. But, we also want to take very genuine approaches to reach men who may be turned off by "stereotypical fraternities." With this in mind, we have decided to reward those making a difference in the classroom and the community by offering $500 in scholarships for one or more non-Greek undergraduate male student. The only requirement is to be an undergraduate male student who is not currently a member of a social fraternity (members of professional or honorary fraternities, however, can still apply). The scholarship will be awarded based on a combination of academic achievement, campus & community leadership, and personal character.

Applying couldn't be easier. All you need to do is fill out a short application, which can be accessed by clicking the "Apply Now" button, seen above. We will then contact you to set up a brief meeting to tell you more about the scholarship, and of course a little about TKE. After meeting with all the applicants, we will interview finalists and then, at the end of September, the scholarships will be awarded. Please feel free to email, or call, if you have any questions. To apply now, learn more about our expansion at your school, or to forward this information on to a friend - simply click the corresponding button at the top of this letter.

Thank you very much for your time, and we look forward to receiving your application.
