John C. Fitzgerald, Jr., Scholarship

A past member of the TKE Educational Foundation Board of Directors and current member of the TEF Investment Committee, John C. Fitzgerald began his lifelong TKE commitment as a founding father and first Prytanis of Theta-Upsilon Chapter at California State University-Sacramento. A leader in municipal finance, he is the Managing Director of Fitzgerald Public Finance dealing in municipal tax-exempt and taxable financing. He holds an MBA degree from Cornell University, is an educator and lecturer in public finance, and publisher of the Fitzgerald Report, an authoritative municipal finance newsletter. Named a Teke Alumnus of the Year in 1989, he is a Life Loyal Teke.


Criteria

All of the TKE Educational Foundation leadership and scholarship awards are for the benefit of active members of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity.


This scholarship is available to any undergraduate member of TKE who is a sophomore or above in good standing with his university and TKE, with a Grade Point Average of 2.5 or higher, and pursuing a degree in Business Administration. Preference will first be given to a member of Theta-Upsilon Chapter, but if there is no qualified applicant, the scholarship will be open to any other qualified Teke.
