TKE Announces Hiring of John Deckard as Director of Programs

Deckard has significant experience helping with TKE's various leadership programs and experiential learning opportunities. He served on the professional staff at Indiana University's Bradford Woods professional development center for more than six years, and worked with a United Way agency in Massachusetts for two years. Since 2006, he has served as the Founder and Chief Consultant for The Tributary Circle, a professional facilitators group.

"We're very pleased to add John as a key part of our professional staff team," said Kevin Mayeux, TKE Chief Executive Officer. "John has the skill to help build on the solid foundation that Justin has laid within the programs department, and will help us continue to develop meaningful programs and services which will benefit all Tekes, our chapters, and the Fraternity in general."

Frater Deckard was initiated into the Grand Chapter of TKE in 2001 after working with the TKE Leadership Academy as part of the Bradford Woods team. He is a recipient of the Grand Prytanis Award, Key Leader Award, has served as a facilitator at several TKE educational programs, and has been an active member of the Fraternity's education committee.

An alumnus of Indiana University Purdue University of Indianapolis and Vincennes University, John lives in Camby, Indiana with his wife, Kim, and two sons. He begins work on the TKE professional staff on April 19.
