TKE Building Better Men for a Better World

TKE Building Better Men for a Better World

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - It is a key concern of TKE to keep our members and guests safe. The cost of insurance as part of TKE's overall risk management program also represents a tremendous financial strain on our collegiate membership.

Tekes have responded by providing safer experiences for our members and guests, resulting in a lower number of claims filed this year. Due to these improvements, TKE was able to secure a reduction greater than $72,000 in costs for our risk management program, representing an $18 savings per returning collegiate member next year. Why is this significant? Let's assume you have 40 men returning this fall, instantly you have $720 more in your budget. That's money you can put toward recruitment, a service project, a brotherhood building event or sending two extra men to Conclave 2009 in New Orleans.

In addition to this good news, TKE was also able to lock in a premium price with our general liability carrier - Liberty International - for a three year period. This locked-in rate gives TKE an opportunity to grow our collegiate base without experiencing an increase in premium or having to renegotiate. That means you can go out and recruit as many men as you want and not worry about prices fluctuating that could deter men to join.
