Frater Kevin Mayeux Earns Top Executive Honors
Frater Kevin Mayeux

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Annual Indiana Society of Association Executives Star Awards honored Frater Kevin Mayeux, CAE (Gamma-Theta, Univ. of Florida) with the highest honor of the evening: Executive of the Year. Frater Kevin is the fourth Teke to take home the hardware, joining Fraters T.J. Schmitz (Iota-Omicron, Univ. of Wisconsin-Whitewater), Jerry Gorup (Grand Chapter) and Gary Epperson, Jr. (Alpha-Chi, Univ. of Louisville).

As the Chief Executive Officer, Frater Kevin is responsible for the overall management of Tau Kappa Epsilon. The Fraternity has a full-time paid staff, a multi-million dollar operating budget, and chapters and colonies across North America. He serves as the primary interface between the Fraternity and the media, key constituencies, and various boards and committees. He is the lead staff member on all legal disputes related to the Fraternity, and coordinates the programs and services offered by the Offices of the Grand Chapter to our membership.

Kevin Mayeux is a past president of ISAE (2006-07) leading the organization to the largest growth of membership in its history. The recruitment program has helped spread ISAE throughout the state of Indiana and lead to a better impact on the non-profit community. As vital member of ISAE, Frater Kevin has been instrumental in the political arena lobbying for all non-profits in Indiana and beyond. He has worked tirelessly to gain support for the Collegiate Housing & Infrastructure Act, a bill that would help fraternities and sororities receive donations that can be used to improve facilities throughout the country while giving the donor a tax write-off. He has also lobbied the state legislature to continue with non-profit property tax laws, saving the non-profit community countless dollars. In short, he has worked with several levels of government to ensure that non-profits are given ample opportunity to succeed in their various endeavors making their communities stronger.

The Offices of the Grand Chapter extends Frater Kevin congratulations on this well-deserved recognition. Email your best wishes to Frater Kevin by clicking here .
