Frater Todd Farmer Takes on New Challenge

Frater Todd FarmerINDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Offices of the Grand Chapter is happy to announce some transitions in the Chapter Services department of TKE. The first of these is the appointment of Frater Todd Farmer (Xi-Theta, Univ. of West Georgia) to Senior Regional Director of the West. This expansive region that stretches from Hawaii to Missouri will benefit from the excellent leadership and expertise of Frater Todd as he moves into this role this summer. Farmer has served on the TKE Professional Staff since 1992 and Region 1 Director since 2002.

Frater John Deckard (Grand Chapter), Vice President of Fraternal Services said this move is very exciting. “Todd is one of the best alumni developers we have seen in TKE. I have the utmost confidence he will work hard to develop the current volunteer support and expand this base, as he has in the Northeast.”

Farmer said he ready to take on this new challenge with enthusiasm and vigor. “I have the same excitement that is afforded to us with recruitment; meeting and learning about new people. I want to understand the needs and desires of the collegiate and alumni Fraters in Region 4 and partner with them to enhance TKE in the West. The chapters and Fraters of Region 4 have much to be proud of and I want to a part of expanding that pride.”

Taking over the Northeast region, TKE announces the hiring of Frater Pete Dawson (Xi-Gamma, NYIT). Dawson has been a Grand Province Advisor since 2003 and filled other key volunteer roles in Region 1. He is one of the most-well decorated and accomplished volunteers in the area. He is poised and ready to dive-in to the role this Spring, getting ready for full-time duty when the new fiscal year begins June 1.

Frater Pete DawsonFarmer said he is very excited about this transition, though he will miss those in Region 1 who helped make his experience memorable. “I want to express my sincere appreciation for all the love, respect, and dedication that was shown to me by the alumni and collegiate Fraters in the Northeast Region. We have achieved a great deal and there is still work to be done to strengthen and expand out great Fraternity. I ask all Fraters of Region 1 to recommit themselves to the new leadership and continue the work before us.  I have the utmost confidence in Pete Dawson and pledge to him my support.”

Deckard said the stars truly aligned to make this happen. He is very excited to see what Dawson can do in this new role and is confident he will continue the work begun by Frater Farmer.
