Amanda Klaus 2009 International SweetheartINDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Nominations for the 2010 TKE International Sweetheart are now being accepted. Only 55 women have received this high honor and you can add your sweetheart to this select group by applying today. This woman will represent the organization at conferences, receive a scholarship, and be recognized by media, school officials and more.

The 2009 International Sweetheart Amanda Klaus, representing Kappa-Kappa Chapter at Monmouth University, said her experience has been life-changing. “It was great to see all of the Tekes at Conclave in New Orleans and work with them during the service event. They really stepped up, confirming my feelings about how wonderful these men are day in and day out.”

The deadline to get your nominations in is Monday, February 15, 2010. The sweetheart is selected annually by online voting at the TKE website and votes compiled from chapters in the traditional form sent. Nominees are chosen based on Grade Point Average (GPA), honors and awards of distinction, extra-curricular activities, community service and involvement with the local TKE chapter. The Sweetheart is awarded a scholarship from the TKE Educational Foundation.
