TKE Moves In

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Offices of the Grand Chapter is officially at 7439 Woodland Drive in Indianapolis. The move occurred over the weekend of April 16-18. Since that time, members of the professional staff have been working tirelessly to get everything back up and running so member needs are met with little delay. Thirty-eight years of materials now need to be separated and moved around in the new building.

In the next edition of The TEKE Magazine is a historical look at all the moves of the Offices of the Grand Chapter. The Summer 2010 edition will take an in-depth look into the new headquarters and show you how this move will benefit you as a member.

Over the course of TKE’s 111-year history, the TKE Headquarters has moved from Illinois to Missouri to Indiana and each time there has been some growing pains. Every move has been made to better position the Fraternity for success and this one is no different. It’s hard not to be excited about this as a member because of the many advantages the organization has now that the move has completed. Here are just a handful of reasons.

1. A new archives museum area will help show off the organization to chapters and visitors alike.
2. Improved conference space for chapter retreats, alumni meetings and other activities for members.
3. Existing services will continue and efficiency will improve in the new space provided.
