Frater Returns from Middle East, Headed to OGC

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - An advocate of Tau Kappa Epsilon and dedicated Army soldier has returned from the Middle East to rejoin the Offices of the Grand Chapter staff. Frater Nate Lehman (Theta-Iota, Northern Michigan Univ.) spent more than a year in Iraq as an engineer building and inspecting bridges. He will come back to the staff on November 1st and until then will be serving the TKE Nation as a volunteer in Indiana.

Frater Nate said he is happy to be home and get back to working with the men of TKE. “I look forward to getting back out there, working with and meeting our active members and volunteers again to continue building a better Fraternity.”

At TKE, Lehman served as a chapter services specialist working primarily with colonies in Region 1 and 3, as an Associate Regional Director for Region 3 and as a Special Projects Coordinator leading up to his deployment. The role he will play in the coming year is yet to be determined, but he will no doubt have a great impact as he has in the past.

“I am so proud of Frater Lehman’s service to his nation and relieved he is home safe,” said Frater John Deckard, Vice President for Fraternal Services. “Now we get the pleasure of seeing his passion and pursuit of selfless service to TKE Nation. Nate embodies the spirit of giving back to his Fraternity and Country through his actions. He is a key component to our recent successes and I am excited for the groups and members that get to interact with him in the near future.”

The Offices of the Grand Chapter is excited to have Frater Nate home safe after his service. Send a note to him. Be sure to follow the latest TKE News with the RSS Feed, on Twitter or the official TKE Facebook Fan Page (Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity). Submit your news today.
