This brand new section breaks down into four simple areas - Give, Share, Volunteer, and Apply. The seamless design aims to enhance the user experience while visiting the Foundation’s portion of the tke.org site.

 

The "Give” supplies members opportunities to support educational programs, scholarships and even create their own grant. Whether it is $10 or $10 million, the goal is to further raise awareness about how the TKE Educational Foundation assists in the overall mission of building better men to build a better world.

 

The “Share” shows members the profound impact donation dollars have made in a young man’s life and what it has meant to those who have given to support the foundation. In each case, Fraters are sharing with the world how they are making their mark as a result of the foundation’s support.

 

The “Volunteer” highlights the myriad of options to help the organization and foundation in a service much needed. Both entities would not be where it is today without the selfless sacrifice of time and talent Fraters demonstrate on a regular basis. Strengthening this core area is key to continuing our presence as the greatest fraternity in the world.

 

The “Apply” is for members to peruse scholarships and grants available to offset the rising costs of college and other educational opportunities. Named and chapter scholarships, along with educational grants reward a member’s work toward their goal of graduation and a successful life. These are all made possible by Fraters who give to the annual fund, join the Life Loyal Teke program, and individual contributions.

 

The mission of the TKE Educational Foundation is to establish and support scholarships and leadership training programs which promote academic achievement and strengthen moral, social, and community values.

 

 

This is an expanded section to include the various opportunities afforded to alumni of TKE. Ensuring organization communications are getting to your home, as well as helping you network with the rest of the TKE Nation are just two of the goals in this area.

 

 

This is an opportunity to network with Fraters from your area or chapter. It also helps foster the TKE spirit among alumni of many generations. An association is chartered either as a chapter-based or area-based Alumni Association. They plan social and philanthropic events just like a chapter, and many Alumni Associations award scholarships to collegiate members. In addition, each chartered association is given one vote on all matters discussed during the Grand Chapter sessions at Conclave.

 

 

The Life Loyal Teke program is designed to reaffirm your commitment to this great organization, ensure lifetime communications, donate back to your chapter special projects fund, and provides a sustaining gift to help endow the educational programs of the Fraternity. By becoming a Life Loyal Teke you will ensure that we will continue to keep the Teke spirit intact and make TKE truly the “Fraternity for Life.”

 

 

Attending the various TKE Conferences not only helps continue networking with volunteers and other Fraters in the area, there are special tracks available specifically for alumni. As an LLT there are also special receptions with high profile members and Fraters from the region. This section also helps ensure you know what is offered to collegiate members as an opportunity to support.

 

 

TKE chapter housing varies tremendously based on campus, ranging from the traditional chapter house owned by a local housing corporation, to the Greek cooperative operated by the university. Fraternity housing can be a great asset to any chapter and help to enhance the fraternal experience. Having a house comes with great fun and great responsibility. This section helps alumni who are on housing boards, or want to be, have all the resources needed for a successful chapter dwelling. It can also offer suggestions on where to start when planning to obtain or build a house in the future.

 

 

Staying connected to Tau Kappa Epsilon is the primary goal of all communications produced by the staff. Whether you prefer traditional means or new technologies, TKE has a presence. The TEKE Magazine, Facebook Fan Page, Twitter, E-Newsletters, website and more help keep you up-to-date on where the organization is and where it is going.

Just as the name suggests, find-a-chapter provides a one-step portal to keeping tabs on your home chapter, finding one near you to volunteer, or one to visit on a road trip. Each chapter and colony is represented complete with contact information, key stakeholders and a website. Can’t find your chapter, it may need to be restarted and we need your assistance to help make this a reality. TKE always want to return to campuses where enough volunteers can help support it. Information is provided on how to get the process started.
