INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Ever wanted to help Tau Kappa Epsilon continue the good work going on and solidify the Fraternity’s future to become even greater? If so, the TKE Educational Foundation wants to hear from you. There are currently open positions for fundraising professionals.

Development Manager
The Development Manager will coordinate all day-to-day activities of the Foundation including its annual giving program, electronic and written communications and collateral, accounting activities and will handle in-coming calls from members with questions about the Foundation. Generally speaking, the Development Manager will steward all donors who give less than $5,000 a year. He/ She will develop and execute a comprehensive annual fund plan that fosters donor acquisition, retention and increased giving. The Development Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing coordinated, multi-channel donor communication strategies using direct mail, email, social media and mobile vehicles.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of three years fundraising experience (or related field) with an emphasis on relationship building.
  • Strong personal and written communication skills that are effective across a variety of constituencies.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented work style.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and to succeed under pressure.
  • High energy and goal orientation.
  • High degree of technological proficiency, including past experience working with social media, web content design, constituent management software and Microsoft Office.

Major and Planned Gift Officer
The Major and Planned Gift Officers will be expected to manage portfolios of 150 major and planned gift prospects. As principal donor strategists, they will work to deepen donor relationships with the Foundation and move donors up in their giving. Officers will conduct direct cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of major and planned gifts, while engaging the Foundation President, Fraternity CEO, other Fraternity staff, Foundation board members and Fraternity board members, as appropriate, in these efforts. 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 3-5 years fundraising experience (or related field) with an emphasis on major gift relationship building.
  • Experience developing major gift closing strategies, including advanced cultivation efforts, solicitation and stewardship/recognition.
  • Basic knowledge of planned giving vehicles.
  • Exceptional personal and written communication skills that are effective across a variety of constituencies.
  • High degree of technological proficiency, including past experience working with constituent management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential preferred but not required.
