TKE Educational Foundation Welcomes New Staff
Growth focused on increasing giving, and fostering donor relations
Indianapolis, Ind.- Increasing personalized giving is the focus for three new staff members joining the TKE Educational Foundation in September.
The Foundation arm of the fraternity has hired two new major and planned giving officers and a development manager to join Foundation President Gary Reed as full-time fundraising staff. Adding the new staff will move the Foundation into the second half of a $20 million fundraising campaign, with an aggressive goal of raising $4 million in cash and $6 million in planned gifts by 2014.
“A World Class Fraternity like Tau Kappa Epsilon requires a top notch Foundation staff,” Reed said. “ With enormous scrutiny and skill, the search committee made up of men who have hired thousands of workers collectively have found three people with enormous talent who will add greatly to our efforts to grow with the Fraternity.”
The TKE Educational Foundation is pleased to announce the following new hires:
· Erik Glenn, Major and Planned Gift Officer (West). Glenn, a TKE alumnus, returns to work for the Greek organization. Glenn served as the fraternity’s Director of Administration, leading successful membership campaigns. Most recently, he has served as the Director of Conservation Transactions and Public Policy for the Colorado Cattleman’s Agricultural Land Trust, working on land donations and legislative issues related to conservation and protecting ranching communities.
· Bethany K. Warner, Development Manager. Warner comes to TKE from Starfish Initiative where she was the organization’s first full-time Director of Advancement, coordinating all aspects of fundraising including annual fund and grants, resulting in increased revenue for four consecutive years.
· Kathy Williams, Major and Planned Gift Officer (East). Williams is no stranger to the Greek world, where she most recently served as the Executive Director of the Phi Mu Foundation. Through Phi Mu, Williams increased fundraising revenue and implemented donor stewardship programs while reducing expenses and has significant experience in the for-profit sector including sales and recruiting.
