Wrap-up the Year Right

As we close on an amazing school year, TKE wants to make sure you finish this year strong. By doing so, the chapter will be poised for an even better fall semester. Here are a few things to keep in mind as you get packing for the break.

1. Balance your financial books and help TKE do the same.
   Why spend more money than you have to? By ending the year with a $0 balance, you make sure when the chapter returns they are concentrating on what is important – having fun & recruiting. As a reminder:
   
   Fee Structure
   Candidate Fee: $90 per new member
   Initiation Fee $210 per man/ $660 for One Time Initiation (Initiates who pay the One-time Initiation Fee Option will not have to pay Annual Membership Fees for the rest of their collegiate careers.)
   Honorary Initiation: $200 per man
   Conclave Savings Plan: $250 per semester
   Annual Membership Fees: $150/ man per year or $90/ man each semester
   Chapter Assessment Fee: $780/ chapter
    
2. Update/ Check Membership Maintenance Module for Officer Updates, Candidate/ New Member registrations, service hours and philanthropy dollars, and all of the other updates.
    
3. If you haven’t filled out the annual report that was due on May 15, we still need it completed. This will not only help give us a look at how you are doing as a chapter, it will also help get you into THE TEKE, show the university the impact you’re making, and so much more. Go to the Membership Maintenance Module to complete it. 
    
4. Close the chapter house the right way.
    
5. Plan. Plan. Plan. Even though the school year is complete, it is a good idea to get ready for the future. A summer planning retreat will help you make lay out the budget, recruitment goals, events and any other idea desired for 2012-13.
