TKE Insurance Changes

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Effective 6/1/12, James R. Favor & Company will be acting as Tau Kappa Epsilon’s insurance broker. The company earned the TKE account based on much positive feedback from their current fraternity customers, and the variety of very attractive options they presented for our consideration. The following were key elements in selecting James R. Favor & Company as Tau Kappa Epsilon’s new Risk Management & Insurance Program representative.

Our account will be personally handled by the company’s President, James R. Favor, CRM, CIC. Having designed the initial fraternity risk management programs in the 1970’s Jim Favor is a recognized pioneer, leader, and expert in the field of fraternity risk management. Jim acts as the underwriter for certain Underwriters @ Lloyd’s, London that will now underwrite the TKE Property and Liability insurance as part of the Lloyd’s Fraternity Program that has been serving the fraternity community continuously since 1985.
 
The staff of James R. Favor & Company has more than 100 years of collective experience in serving fraternities. During that period the company has assisted its fraternity customers in resolving over 6,000 claims involving more than $60 Million Dollars in losses recovered. Since 2006, the company has been owned by a group of its fraternity customers, and TKE is considering becoming active in the company’s ownership and operations.
