Job Description
The Communications Coordinator is a part of the Marketing & Corporate Partnerships team led by the Vice President of Marketing & Corporate Partnerships on the TKE professional staff. They report directly to the Vice President of Marketing & Corporate Partnerships and are responsible for ensuring all communication of the Fraternity is properly and professionally executed so TKE can achieve its main objectives of improving member services, strengthening our chapters, and substantially increasing membership results annually. They are responsible for developing and executing an overall communication plan, as well as ensuring all performance objectives assigned to them are achieved.  
 
To be successful, the Communications Coordinator should have the ability to think critically, contribute as a member of the team, and work tirelessly to make the organization successful. They are required to provide active, hands-on leadership to every phase of the communications plan. These skills include serving as a lead interface for collegiate, alumni, volunteer, Greek Life and media, master of communication and editing, awards application specialist, and social networking expert.
 
Expectations
  • Finalists will be expected to interview at the Offices of the Grand Chapter in Indianapolis, if after review you are a top candidate. 
  • This position is based in Indianapolis, IN.

Qualifications 
  • Required:  Bachelors degree in PR/Communications, Journalism, or related field. 
  • Preferred: Two years of related work experience.
  • Preferred: Crisis Communication Training
  • Preferred: Public Relations (external & internal) Training
  • Understand this is a full-time job based in Indianapolis, Ind.
