Military Monument Installed at TKE Headquarters

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The installment of the 6 foot tall Military Monument occurred Thursday afternoon at the Tau Kappa Epsilon Headquarters Courtyard.

The Monument was donated by Order of the Shield Commander Charlie Trabold (Kappa-Kappa, Monmouth University) and the Monument surface reads:

"In Honor of
All Fraters Who Served Their Country
In Times of Peace and War
Protecting the Bond We Share."

The Monument signifies the appreciation for Fraters who have served or currently are serving from the United States, Canada, and other military branches across the globe. "This monument symbolizes the significant impact these men have had on our country and our lives. Their impact is great, and I wanted to commemorate that with a great monument," said Trabold.

The dedication for both the TKE Courtyard and TKE Military Monument will occur during a joint meeting of the Grand Council and the TKE Educational Foundation in Indianapolis during the weekend of November 15-17, 2013.

Undergraduates and Alumni who haved served in the military and purchased a brick are honored with a Star (United States) or Leaf (Canada) alongside their name. To add your name to the Courtyard and purchase a Brick, visit the Courtyard Website.
