Tau Kappa Epsilon Announces 3 New National Partnerships

INDIANAPOLIS, IN. Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity formally announced new national partnerships designed to improve the fraternity's level of services for their nearly 267,000 members that reach across the United States and Canada. The announcement was made by Tau Kappa Epsilon CEO Shawn A. Babine at the Fraternity's summer biennial Conclave held in Washington D.C.

The three national partnerships augment the focus of the fraternity's Life Loyal Teke program to include tangible services that support each collegiate man's transition from the university to their next chapter in life; whether it is a professional career track or continuing education.

Frater Babine announced that TKE has signed partnership agreements with Kaplan Test Prep, View You, and Men's Warehouse. "This is another significant milestone for our 114-year old fraternity, where we are connecting the collegiate experience with tangible post-graduate benefits and services," Babine said.

Kaplan Test Prep, a division of Kaplan Inc. offers preparation for more than 90 standardized tests, including entrance exams for secondary school, college, and graduate school. Kaplan, a premier provider of educational and career services for individuals, schools, and businesses will partner with TKE's nearly 300 chapters to design business plans that will aide members who wish to take graduate school entrance exams that may include GMAT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT, DAT, OAT, and PCAT.

View You offers TKE men an online resume solution through a private digital platform where jobseekers can upload user-created video in a professionally controlled atmosphere that can be accessed by recruiters and perspective employers. Each user receives a private and secure URL that showcases a private professional video that can be shared or attached to your graduate school application.

"If a recent graduate is preparing for the transition to the workforce, it can be hard to afford his first "power suit" that just might land a Teke a job," Babine said.

Men's Wearhouse helps job hunters suit up for success. While providing Life Loyal Teke members with special discounts; Men's Wearhouse and TKE will partner together to offer educational seminars that help young men understand the transition from the college dress-code to the professional career track. A recent survey sited that "75 percent of Americans polled believe well-dressed men are more successful in the workplace than their casual colleagues, and 22 percent of men actually believe they would earn more money if only they dressed better than they currently do,"

Founded January 10, 1899 at Illinois Wesleyan University, Tau Kappa Epsilon is the world's largest social fraternity with chapters on more than 300 campuses in the United States and Canada. TKE has initiated more than 267,000 men since its founding. The Fraternity aims to build Better Men for a Better World.
