Grand Court Appointed – Robert Jarred Appointed Grand Justice

 

 

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Tau Kappa Epsilon today announced that the Venerable Grand Prytanis Bob Barr has appointed Past Grand Officer Robert Jarred, Esq. (Omicron Kappa – Univ. of Louisiana Lafayette) as Chief Grand Justice for TKE's Grand Court. The Grand Court serves as the judicial arm of the fraternity that renders decisions relating to violations of member and chapter standards.

Frater Jarred offers a depth of fraternal experience having served previously as Grand Pylortes and Grand Histor. Jarred has served the fraternity for many years as Judiciary Chairman. 

Joining Frater Jarred on the Court are five equally experienced TKE men. They are: serving for Region 1 - Frater John Morin Esq. (Lambda-Delta, Univ of Southern Maine); for Region 2 - Frater Scott Early (Epsilon-Omicron, Univ. of Houston); for Region 4 Fr. M. Price Oswalt (Epsilon-Sigma, Univ. of Central Oklahoma) and James H. Cox (Beta-Sigma, Univ. of Southern California). And, finally for Region 3 is Steven A. Jones (Delta, Knox College).
 
The Chief Grand Justice and each Grand Justice are appointed by the Grand Pytanis, with the advice and consent of the Grand Council. All Justices will serve a term to expire in August of 2015.
