TKE Welcomes Alpha-Rho Chapter at the Univ. of Rhode Island

This past weekend Providence, Rhode Island played site to the newest re-chartered group in TKE Nation. The Alpha-Rho Tekes celebrated their group achievement by becoming a fully recognized chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon International Fraternity. Founded in 1937, Alpha-Rho has a history at the University of Rhode Island. The active membership today shows the potential to be a top-performing chapter in Region 1 (Northeast) in the future.

"It was a huge step for the Tau Kappa Epsilon Alpha-Rho Chapter. Preparing for chartering was grueling for the men of this fraternity, but we knew that great reward would await us at the end of this journey. Being chartered does not mean we can relax or take our foot off the pedal. This is the time where we must go 110% and make a difference," said Chapter Crysophylos Frater Kevin Leveillee.

The University of Rhode Island was established on May 19, 1892 in Kingston, Rhode Island. The active enrollment on campus is over 16,000 students. Tau Kappa Epsilon joins a growing Greek Community at URI by becoming the 14th fraternity.

Congratulations to the men of the Alpha-Rho chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon.
