INDIANAPOLIS - The next time you turn it to your favorite music station, keep an ear open, because you might be hearing Frater Eric Burgett (Beta, Millikin University) coming through the speakers. As a country artist with a unique background in a classical music, Eric has made a name for himself through his creative lyrics and toe-tapping tunes.

Eric was recently highlighted by Billboard, a highly-acclaimed music magazine headquartered in New York with bureaus in Los Angeles and Miami. 

"In this week's 615 Spotlight, we take a look at a singer who we found simply perfecting his art in one of the most prestigious clubs in Nashville: Eric Burgett, one of the most unique talents you will find in Music City," said Billboard. "His writing and performing definitely fit in with what is out there on the radio, but with his piano base, he definitely sets himself apart."

As a collegiate member at Millikan, Eric served as Grammateus and Philanthropy Chair. He  supported the chapter by utilizing his talents to organize events and concerts that benefited St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
