Grand Council Applications Due June 30

INDIANAPOLIS - Applications to serve on Tau Kappa Epsilon's Grand Council are now being accepted. 

Process and Timeline


According to the Black Book: Any eligible alumnus wishing to present himself as a candidate for the Grand Council must submit an appropriate application and signed release provided by the Offices of the Grand Chapter at least 10 business days in advance of the first day of Conclave for the purpose of conducting appropriate background screening for members of the corporate board of directors. To facilitate this process you must complete the online application and associated background check application no later than June 30, 2015. After background screening you will be notified via email and provided with an opportunity to submit your credentials. Below is a timeline of important dates.



June 1, 2015 – Online Application Process Begins
June 30, 2015 – Online Application and Background Check Application Submission Deadline

July 14, 2015 –Deadline for the Vetting of Candidates by the Judiciary Committee
July 24, 2015 – Credentials Submission Deadline
August 6, 2015 – Nominations Committee Selection and Mandatory Candidate Orientation, New Orleans
August 7, 2015 – Candidate Interviews and Slating, New Orleans
August 8, 2015 – Election of Grand Officers, New Orleans



You must register for Conclave (click here to register online now) and be physically present at the mandatory candidate orientation, candidate interviews, and election of Grand Officers to be eligible for election to the Grand Council.
