Ways to Save on Triangle Summit Registration

INDIANAPOLIS – It's that time of the year again! Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday have come and gone, and Triangle Summits (previously known as Regional Leadership Conferences or RLCs) are right around the corner. With registration well underway, and a special early bird rate in effect until December 10, now is the time to register as many representatives from your chapter or colony as possible to attend one of four Triangle Summits. 

Listed below are common methods for lowing the cost of registration for Triangle Summits.

Register at the Early Bird Rate

Take advantage of special early bird rates by registering by December 10th at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. Quad rates begin at $199 per person and includes a free t-shirt with each registration. It's highly recommended chapters and colonies take advantage of such great pricing by registering at the early bird rate. You can always change participant information right up to the event. 

Special Projects Fund

Your Special Projects Fund is money kept by the TKE Educational Foundation to support your chapter's educational initiatives. Included in those initiatives are registration costs to events such as, you guessed it, Triangle Summits! If you have alumni looking to make a tax-deductible donation while supporting a specific chapter, those funds will help cover costs.

When you register for a Summit, your Special Projects Fund balance will appear on the payment page, and you can choose to utilize any or all of the money in that account, provided it is at least $200. Withdrawal is then approved by your board of advisors.

Now is the time to start your fundraising campaign to bolster your account. You can find more information about special projects here and make a donation to the TKE Educational Foundation at tke.org/donate. 

School Funding

Many colleges and universities set aside money in their student activities budget to support students in campus organizations who attend educational conferences. Don't wait to look into this possibility.

Go to your Greek life offices today and ask about financial support for Triangle Summits. Often times, all you have to do is fill out an application with the details of the conference. Simple, right?!

Alumni & Family Support

With Triangle Summits taking place just a month or two after Christmas, don't forget to ask your family and friends to help you attend an event that will aid your personal, professional and fraternal development.
