Associate Regional Director

Jim Scovell
Tau Chapter
Oregon State University

Responsibilities
As an Associate Regional Director, I am an ambassador of Tau Kappa Epsilon and the Offices of the Grand Chapter. I promote leadership in, and on behalf of, assigned collegiate chapters, colonies, and interest groups. I will be a leader in growing healthier groups. In addition, I will provide value based programming to the chapters, colonies, and interest groups within my region and educate members in the areas of leadership development, academic achievement, volunteerism, business principles, personal life skills, and risk management issues.

About Me
I was born in Hillsboro Oregon just outside of Portland. I attended Oregon State University where I was initiated into Tau chapter in November of 2004. As a colligate I held several offices such as recruitment chair, IFC delegate, Pylortes, Hegemon, and Prytanis. I was also the Vice-President of Education for the Interfraternity Council. I graduated from Oregon State with a degree in psychology in March of 2009.

What I Like To Do in My Free Time
I enjoy watching sports, mostly football and basketball. I have always been a Packers and Trail Blazers fan. I was a wrestler in high school, and like playing football, softball or just going for a run. I like hiking, camping, fly fishing or just anything outdoors.
