Responsibilities
As the Development Manager for the TKE Educational Foundation, my job is two-pronged – keeping alumni donors informed about how their donations are used and planning and executing giving campaigns throughout the year to carry out the work of the Foundation and TKE educational programs. I work with chapters and alumni to establish scholarship funds and help manage chapters’ special projects funds. I also champion the Better Men for a Better World courtyard brick campaign.
About Me
Joining the TKE Educational Foundation has been my introduction into the Greek world and I am excited to be part of this dynamic organization. My background is in newspaper journalism and fundraising in the human services. Before joining the TEF, I served as the Director of Advancement for Starfish Initiative, a college access mentoring program in Marion County, Ind., and as a newspaper reporter for the Oshkosh Northwestern, in Oshkosh, Wisc. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications/Journalism from Anderson University and my Master’s degree in Public Affairs Reporting from the University of Illinois-Springfield.
What I Like To Do in My Free Time
I am an avid reader and an aspiring novelist and enjoy “yardening” at my house.
