Frater Wins Order of Omega Professional of the Year Award

LEXINGTON KY - Frater Will Takewell, Iota Theta at Centenary College of Louisiana, was presented with the 2017 Order of Omega Fraternity and Sorority Professional of the Year Award. The presentation of the award took place at the 2018 Annual Conference for Greek Women Leaders Conference hosted by the Coalition for Collegiate Women’s Leadership on February 3, 2018.

William Takewell

Will currently works as one of the assistant deans of students and assistant directors for fraternity and sorority life at the University of Kentucky, but was recognized for his work as the Director of the Student Activities, Involvement and Leadership Center at Millsaps College where he advised all Greek councils and Order of Omega from August 2015 - January 2018.

The award recognizes a professional who has made outstanding contributions as an advisor to Order of Omega, as a campus advisor to their councils, to the field of fraternity and sorority advising, and who exemplifies the 12 tenants of Order of Omega. Will is one of five professionals in the country to be recognized with this award.
