In the first meeting of the 2019-2021 Grand Council on Sunday, August 4th, the newly elected Grand Council selected the two At-Large members.

Fraters Erich Ploog (Epsilon-Omicron, Houston) and Jonathan Fitzgerald (Grand Chapter) applied prior to Conclave and were approved by the Grand Council.

The Venerable Grand Prytanis, Frater James Hickey, Ph.D., shared, "The Grand Council selected both Fraters Ploog and Fitzgerald for their experience looking at the big picture. The Grand Council's charge is to examine and guide the Fraternity strategically. As we work to build a new strategic plan for the Fraternity, our aim for our two At-Large members is to provide outside perspectives. Discovering ways we can better work toward our mission 'to aid men in their mental, moral, and social development for life.' Both of these men are outstanding additions to help us analyze ways we can improve the Fraternity for the long term."
