Charles R. Walgreen, Jr. Leadership Academy Facilitation Team Set

INDIANAPOLIS - Tau Kappa Epsilon is pleased to announce the selection of this year's facilitation team for Charles R. Walgreen, Jr. TKE Leadership Academy XXIII. The group is composed of Fraters that are both successful and experienced in many areas of professional, fraternal, and personal endeavors. This year's exciting program will be held Friday, May 29 through Tuesday, June 2, at La Foret Conference and Retreat Center located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Frater Matthew J. Previts (Upsilon-Alpha, Spring Hill College) will serve as the lead facilitator, with Frater Albert Meng (Xi, Washington University - St. Louis) taking the role of assistant lead facilitator. Small Group facilitators include Grand Epiprytanis Herb Songer (Alpha-Upsilon, Fort Hays State Univ.), Chris Niles (Grand Chapter), Matthew Cole (Xi, Washington University - St. Louis), Bryan Keller (Alpha-Tau, Drexel Univ.), Greg Roskopf (Zeta-Zeta, Univ. of Wisconsin-Milwaukee), Braydon Boland (Upsilon-Kappa, Sir Sandford Fleming College), Rob Jefferis (Omicron-Nu, Florida Institute of Tech.), James Taggert (Theta-Iota, Northern Michigan Univ.), Donnie Aldrich (Rho-Upsilon, Franklin College), H. Joe Puentes (Mu-Omega, George Mason Univ.) and Rob Ruffino (Upsilon-Alpha, Spring Hill College). Frater John Deckard (Grand Chapter) will serve as the program director while Todd Farmer (Xi-Theta, Univ. of West Georgia) will again serve as the logistics coordinator.

Venerable Grand Prytanis Mark Johnson (Nu-Theta, Univ. of Utah), Vice Chairman of the TKE Educational Foundation Ernie Ernest (Beta-Mu, Bucknell Univ.), and CEO Kevin Mayeux (Gamma-Theta, Univ. of Florida) will be joining the program as guest speakers.

Record Applicants, Attendees Selected

The twenty-third installment of the Charles R. Walgreen, Jr. TKE Leadership Academy received a record number of applicants. A total of 168 Fraters applied to fill the 72 available slots. All the applications were reviewed by the selection committee composed of Fraters. The top 72 applicants, as well as several alternates, have been contacted by the Offices of the Grand Chapter.
