Re-Colonization at Georgia Southern University
STATESBORO, GA. – The Grand Council of Tau Kappa Epsilon has unanimously approved the re-colonization of the Lambda-Upsilon colony at Georgia Southern University, effective October 9th, 2013.

Founded in 1906, GSU is a Division I University with nearly 18,000 undergraduate students; represented by 22 Fraternities and 11 Sororities. TKE was first recognized at GSU in 1968. The new colony makes the re-birth as a strong group of leaders with great alumni support.

Support from TKE's Office of the Grand Chapter is led by Regional Director, David Adkins and Associate Regional Director, Greg Halloran. CEO Shawn A. Babine said, "The Lambda-Upsilon colony continues its hard work to become TKE's next chapter and will join the TKE nation at a time of unprecedented growth and development as we build better men for a better world."

Founded January 10, 1899 at Illinois Wesleyan University, Tau Kappa Epsilon is the world's largest social fraternity with chapters on 275 campuses in the United States and Canada. TKE has initiated more than 260,000 men since its founding. The    Fraternity   aims   to   build
