Epsilon-Kappa Chapter Wins Big at SFL Banquet

INDIANAPOLIS – On May 12, 2015, the Epsilon-Kappa chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon celebrated its 59th anniversary on the Loyola University Chicago campus. The anniversary was accompanied with a great showing at the Sorority & Fraternity Life Awards Banquet during Loyola's Weekend of Excellence. The event was an honor of the Greek community's achievements and recognition of contributions by students, advisors and staff.

The Epsilon-Kappa chapter received the following awards from the Office of Student Activities and Greek Affairs:

  • IFC Chapter of the Year
  • Commitment to Chapter Management
  • Commitment to Academic Achievement
  • Commitment to Leadership and Membership Development
  • Commitment to Community Service and Philanthropy
  • Excellence in Community Service Hours
  • Most Improved Chapter GPA
  • Fraternity Man of the Year – Jay Patel, Chapter Epiprytanis

The Offices of the Grand Chapter is extremely proud of the Epsilon-Kappa chapter and the work they have accomplished over the past year. "They've come a long way in the span of a year," says Fraternal Services Specialist Gabe Espinosa. "I'm looking forward to seeing which awards they claim at Conclave in New Orleans this summer."
