As the 2019-2020 recipient of the William V. Muse Scholarship, Angel Zavala (Gamma-Theta, Florida) shared how TKE has impacted his personal and leadership development.

“Being a TKE brother has been the most transformative experience of my life as it helped me become a balanced man in the areas of scholarship, leadership and personal development. Coming to college, I was shy, not outspoken and did not possess many leadership abilities. Through the relationships I built with my brothers, I was able to turn all of that around. As a first-generation college student and first-generation immigrant, I was able to find a community that I cannot only fit into, but that has molded me to become someone others can look up to."

Scholarship award recipients will be notified by May 15.
