Frater McEvilly is a Grand Prytanis’ Circle level donor to the TKE Foundation and a Life Loyal Teke. Mike was an International Top Teke in 1980. Frater Mike chairs the Grand Council Board Development Committee, is on the Finance Committee, and has served as Grand Epiprytanis since Conclave 2022 in Houston.

Since 2014, Frater Mike has served on the Board of Directors for the TKE Foundation. He was also the Chairman of the Advancement Committee as well as a member of the Board Development and Personnel Committees. In addition, he has served on the Board of Directors for the Founders Housing Fund since 2016. Frater McEvilly was the Campaign Chairman of the Beta-Eta’s capital campaign for the new chapter house. He initiated into TKE in 1978 at the Beta-Eta chapter at Missouri University of Science and Technology, named University of Missouri-Rolla at that time.

Both Tau Kappa Epsilon and the TKE Foundation have recognized Frater McEvilly for his achievements. At the 2019 Conclave, Frater Mike received the Alumnus of the Year award as well as the Foundation's Fraternity for Life award.

Professionally, Frater McEvilly has spent his career in the offshore, onshore and international oil and gas field development. He is currently the Vice-President of Fabrication for Morrison Energy. Prior to this role, he worked for Hess Corporation, Spitzer Industries, Helix Energy Solutions, Anadarko Petroleum Corporation and Husky Energy.

His service to others is not limited to Tau Kappa Epsilon. McEvilly has served his community through many organizations such as The Lions Club, Elks Lodge, and Masonic Lodge/Shriners/Scottish Rite/York Rite/Eastern Star. He’s led youth as a coach and umpire in Little League, and youth basketball, as well as a referee for youth soccer. He also volunteers as a committeeman for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, is President of Bright Light Foundation, an organization that provides funds to individuals in the Oil and Gas industry with severe medical conditions, and is he immediate Past President of the Missouri S&T Alumni Association, Vice President of the Academy of Engineering Management, a member of the Academy of Civil Engineers, as well as the Vice-President of the Board of Trustees for the Missouri University of Science and Technology. Mike was the Elder Chairman, is a member of the Board of Directors, and currently serves as the Congregational Secretary for Trinity Klein Lutheran Church.

He and his wife, Mary, have two children, Michael and Melissa, as well as four grandchildren. Frater Mike and his wife live in Spring, Texas.
