Fee Structure 2011-12

Candidate Fee - $90 per man
All candidates must pay this non-refundable fee, which is due within 14 days of bid acceptance. The candidate should register, and pay, using the on-line registration system. After 14 days, the chapter or colony becomes responsible for the Candidate Fee even if the candidate drops out before initiation. Chapter officers should use the TKE maintenance module to monitor which candidates have paid their fee to the Offices of the Grand Chapter.

Initiation Fee - $210 per man ($300 total with Candidate Fee) or
One-time Initiation Fee Option - $660 per man ($750 total with Candidate Fee)
Prior to initiation, each candidate must pay an Initiation Fee, which should be done using the on-line registration system Initiates who pay the One-time Initiation Fee Option will not have to pay Annual Membership Fees for the rest of their collegiate careers. If the Initiation Fee is not received within 15 days of initiation, a penalty equal to 40% of the Initiation Fee ($84) will be added your chapter statement.

Annual Membership Fees - $150 per man for the year (or $90 per man each semester)
The best option is to pay your AMF in full for the year, due by October 1. The chapter or colony will save $30 per man by paying in advance for the full year. If choosing the split option, the first installment of $90 per man is due October 1 and the second installment of $90 per man is due no later than March 1. Graduate students have the option to be active members of a TKE chapter or colony. Any graduate student wishing to be an active member must pay Annual Membership Fees. Graduate students include all students who have received a bachelor's degree but are still taking classes at a college or university. All returning active members of TKE chapters and colonies are obligated to pay this fee.

The Offices of the Grand Chapter does not collect Annual Membership Fees. Your chapter or colony is invoiced by ACP Resources and questions about payment should be directed to them.

Risk Management/Liability Insurance Assessment
Willis HRH is our insurance broker and they bill and collect your Risk Management/Liability Insurance Assessment. The amount Willis HRH invoices is based on 1) the number of members reported active at your chapter or colony for the prior academic year, 2) the total new members from the prior academic year, 3) an average attrition rate for the Fraternity, and 4) a chapter or colony risk assessment.

Each chapter and colony receives an invoice directly from Willis HRH prior to August 31. A chapter can make full payment anytime prior to October 1. If full payment is before September 15, a rebate of 10% is posted to your Chapter or Colony Statement, which can be used to pay other Fraternity obligations. If your invoice is more than $2,000, Willis HRH can help you arrange financing through Imperial Credit. In this scenario, you pay a down-payment of at least 50%, and the remainder (including finance charges) is due March 1. If financing, you are not eligible for the 10% rebate.

Chapter Assessment Fee - $780 per Chapter

The chapter assessment fee is an annual fee each chapter pays to support the TKE Nation ensuring dependable access to chapter services and resources. For 2011-12 it will be due in two installments, $260 due January 15 & $520 due April 15.

Conclave  Savings Plan - $250 per semester
Conclave installment payments are due no later than November 30 for the Fall semester and April 30 for the Spring semester.

Honorary Initiation Fee - $200 per man
The TKE Honorary Membership Application must be approved at least two weeks in advance by the Chief Executive Officer. The fee is due with the application. An honorary member may not be an undergraduate at the college where he is being initiated, must be of good character, and may not be an initiated member of any other college fraternity. The Chapter Prytanis, Advisor, or Alumni Association should write a letter endorsing the prospective honorary initiate.
