Any Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon Plans Philanthropy Event
The Any Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity will be holding its Run For Reagan -- a fundraising 5-mile relay run -- on DATE & TIME. Tau Kappa Epsilon will donate 100% of the proceeds from the run to the Ronald and Nancy Reagan Research Institute, which is part of the Alzheimer's Association.
In addition to Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, these student organizations will also be participating in the Run For Reagan:
(List student organizations. If there are none, omit this and the previous paragraph.)
Since 2001, Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity has raised more than $330,000 for the Institute, with hopes of reaching $240,000 with the help of its 274 collegiate chapters and colonies.
"This is not a relay race we are running," said Any Chapter (president) Joe Smith. "We are running to raise awareness and money for the Alzheimer's Association. Each participant will take turns running part of the 5 miles handing off a horseshoe to the next runner. It's motivating for us to have a community that supports our efforts, and above all, the Ronald and Nancy Reagan Research Institute."
The members of Tau Kappa Epsilon will be holding the event at LOCATION. For information on how to donate, please contact John Doe, philanthropy chairman of Any Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. Members of the community are welcome to attend the event and support the runners during the run as well as make an on-site donation.
Tau Kappa Epsilon adopted the Ronald and Nancy Reagan Research Institute as an official philanthropy in honor of President Reagan who became a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon in 1929.
