2015 Risk Management Fees Available

INDIANAPOLIS – All chapters and colonies in Tau Kappa Epsilon have received their 2015-2016 Risk Management Fee invoice from James R. Favor & Company. The invoice has been emailed to chapter presidents and treasurers, chapter advisors, and each board of advisor's chairman and treasurer. In 2014-2015, we improved our assessment calculation by utilizing the prior fiscal year's AMF Worksheet roster. This year, we took it a step further, and have developed our most accurate calculation for risk assessment to date. So, how was your Risk Management Fee calculated…?

Step 1 – Each roster was pulled as of 8/17/2015. By using this roster, we were able to capture any and all roster changes/adjustments made throughout the 2014-2015 year including, but not limited to; new initiates, resignations, expulsions, transfers, etc.

Step 2 – Using the 2014-2015 AMF Worksheet roster, we pulled the numbers for any member who was listed as a "Senior – Graduating in Dec. 2014" and "Senior – Graduating in May 2015."

Step 3 – To get the final number of men billed for each group, we calculated "Step 1" less "Step 2" which gave us a finalized estimation for the number of men returning to the chapter for the 2015-2016 year. Now that you know how your Risk Management Fee was calculated, when is it due and how do you pay it? Well, there are a few options for your chapter to choose from.

Early Bird Special – Pay in full by September 20th and receive a 10% credit on your Chapter Statement.

Option 1 – Pay in full by October 15th.

Option 2 – Pay your 1st installment of 50% by October 15th and pay your 2nd installment of 50% by March 15th.

If "Option 2" is selected, the remaining balance will be due in full by March 15th.

If your payment is not received on time, your insurance coverage will be cancelled and you will be charged an Insurance Reinstatement Charge of $250. Failure to pay your Risk Management Fee will result in coverage cancellation and may result in your chapter's loss of recognition with Tau Kappa Epsilon.
