About Father Nick Blackwell

Frater Nicholas Dustin Blackwell attended Northern Michigan University where he entered the Theta-Iota chapter his freshman year.  Nick graduated with a degree in History in 2006, and went to The Gambia in West Africa to serve in the Peace Corps. Due an injury he was sent back to the US in 2008 and entered the Catholic seminary. He has worked for the church in Michigan, New Jersey, D.C., and New York domestically, and also in both Trinidad and Peru. While in the Washington area, Nick was an active member of the DC TKE Alumni Association and previously served as the Grand Province Advisor for the Chesapeake province. After pursuing his religious study at both Seton Hall and the Catholic University of America, Nick was assigned to work in the Bronx, NY. He was ordained a priest in August of this year, and Father Nick now serves a Parish and two Catholic schools for his Carmelite Order.
