Frater Extends 13-year Career with New HBO Deal

LOS ANGELES - Robert Wuhl has inked a new three-year deal with HBO. The pact, an extension to Wuhl's deal with the pay cable network, includes a sequel to his special "Assume the Position With Mr. Wuhl" and a component for him to develop other television and film projects.

Wuhl will write, perform and executive produce the new "Assume the Position" special, which will be taped in front of an audience of students on the East Coast. It is slated to premiere next year.

The original "Assume the Position" debuted in April to strong critical praise.

The new deal with HBO will bring Wuhl's tenure at HBO to 13 years. He created and played the title role in the hit comedy series "Arli$$," which ran on the network from 1996-2002, and has been under a development deal there ever since.

Frater Robert was initiated in 1969 at the Epsilon-Omicron Chapter (University of Houston).

TKE extends a congratulations to Frater Robert on his continued success in the entertainment industry.
