TKE Office Realignment Geared Toward Improved Servicing and Growth

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - As Tau Kappa Epsilon strives to continue to improve its member services, the Fraternity announced new hires and job assignments related to its operations and programs staff.

Effective September 5, Frater Louis L. LeBlanc will become TKE's new Director of Operations. LeBlanc has extensive experience in non-profit management as well as in customer support and operations. For seven years, he served as a professional with the Boy Scouts of America and spent the past decade working in the for-profit sector with store management and customer support for Alltel Communications in Florida. He has served as a chapter alumni association president, is a supporter of the TKE Educational Foundation, and is a Life Loyal Teke.

Earlier this month, TKE hired Lambda Chapter alumnus Gregory Z. Parker to be our Director of Internet Services. Parker has more than eight years of experience in web development and runs two companies that promote sales through the internet. Frater Greg will be in charge of TKE's website, manage the integration of our membership maintenance module into other software packages, and assist with our other internet needs. He's actively working on developing a cohesive brand image throughout the TKE Nation. The other internal communication functions will now include having Rob Taflinger, Director of Business Affairs, working in collaboration with Tom McAninch and Katie Sayre on producing The TEKE magazine and other Fraternity publications.

In July, John Deckard was promoted to be TKE's Vice President for Fraternal Services. In that role, Frater John supervises the chapter services department as well as the various programs and conferences TKE produces. Deckard will be assisted by Amanda Koerth, a student affairs professional who served on the Greek Life staff at the University of Georgia and the student affairs team at the University of South Carolina, where she earned her master's degree in higher education. Amanda will transition from Georgia to Indianapolis in early October, and will take the lead on key projects including fine-tuning our new member development program (currently in pilot stage), developing web-based educational courses and other TKE member training materials.

In other staffing changes, Jon Hackler has rejoined the chapter servicing team in a visitation and support role. Hackler will work on special assignments, including growing the Fraternity through interest group cultivation and assisting targeted chapters with membership recruitment.

"This new team and structural alignment will help TKE with many of our core functions - building stronger chapters, adding value to the individual Teke experience, and helping us grow a better, healthier Tau Kappa Epsilon," TKE CEO Kevin Mayeux, CAE, said. "I'm excited about the new energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism we've added, and have every confidence that our Fraternity will continue to innovate, improve, and grow in the months and years ahead."

Please welcome Louis, Greg, and Amanda to the TKE professional staff, and congratulations to our other team members on their new assignments.
