Tau Kappa Epsilon Wins a Record Three Awards

Indianapolis, IN - The STAR Awards, the leading statewide honor for associations and not-for-profits, named Tau Kappa Epsilon for the Best Newsletter, Non-Dues Revenue Program, and Philanthropic Project of 2007. The works were produced by the professional staff of Tau Kappa Epsilon International Fraternity.

Hailed as the "Oscars of Association World", the ISAE STAR Awards is the leading statewide awards event honoring excellence in association and not-for-profit organizations and the work they do to further the industry. The awards are divided into two budget categories; those organizations with a total budget over $500,000 a year and those organizations with a total budget under $500,000 a year. There are two different types of awards; Awards of Excellence, which are given to the organization and Individual Achievement Awards, which are given to individuals in the industry that are making a difference. The awards are judged by a panel of peers.

"The ISAE STAR Awards honors the outstanding work that is setting the standards for the association world in Indiana," said Leslie A. Murphy, executive director of ISAE. "Tau Kappa Epsilon's winning programs are a testament to the skill, ingenuity, and vision of its creators."

"The professional staff of Tau Kappa Epsilon works very hard to be at the cutting-edge of associations and not-for-profits in North America," said CEO Kevin Mayeux, CAE. "We are very proud to take home a record three star awards of excellence. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication our staff has put in to these and all projects we produce."

The 6th Annual ISAE STAR Awards received over 45 entries from associations around the state of Indiana. The awards banquet, held at The Mansion at Oak Hill in Carmel, also had record attendance, at 233 registrants.
