TKE Seeks Two Grand Council Members

TKE Seeks Two Grand Council Members

Grand CouncilINDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - As you may know, the Grand Chapter expanded the size of the Grand Council at the 55th Biennial Conclave in New Orleans. The new Grand Council consists of eight elected Grand Officers, two at-large alumni appointed by the Grand Officers, and a representative of the Collegiate Advisory Committee.

Grand Prytanis Herb Songer and the Grand Officers are now reviewing potential candidates to fill the two at-large positions. If you know of any alumnus who would make an outstanding member of the Grand Council, please feel free to submit their name and any supporting materials. The Grand Prytanis requests that suggestions and supporting materials be submitted by Friday, August 28, to allow the Grand Officers ample time to review the skills each would bring to TKE’s leadership team, and identify top prospects to make sure the Fraternity has the strongest, most well-rounded board possible. In particular, suggestions for alumni with a strong background in higher education, governmental relations, media/ public relations, association management, or housing/ commercial real estate are encouraged.

The Fraternity anticipates filling the two at-large positions as soon as practical. Grand Council members are not compensated for their service, and are expected to cover their own expenses related to travel and TKE-related service. Candidates should further review Grand Council Ethics & Commitment Statement, Conflict of Interest Policy, and other information as found on www.tke.org related to Grand Council service.

The Grand Council of Tau Kappa Epsilon has released our 2020-2025 Strategic Plan. Looking for a way to contribute to the future of TKE? Make a gift to Life Loyal Teke today.
