Familiar Voice Retires

After 38 years of service to Tau Kappa Epsilon, our Executive Secretary, Joyce-Ann Anderson, is retiring. Today, March 28, 2013 is Joyce-Ann's last day with TKE.

Joyce-Ann first worked at the Offices of the Grand Chapter in 1969-1970 before moving out of Indianapolis. After moving back to Indy, she has worked for Tau Kappa Epsilon continuously since September 5, 1975. She was hired while William Wisdom was the Grand Prytanis and T.J. Schmitz was the Executive Vice President/Chief Executive Officer. In 1975, TKE purchased its first computer for the International Headquarters.

As the Executive Secretary for the TKE Educational Foundation and Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, Joyce-Ann has had many duties including processing Alumni Association renewals, TEF scholarship applications, taking minutes for Grand Council/TEF Board meetings, among many other duties. Her friendly and welcoming voice has been answering the phones of Tau Kappa Epsilon for over 10 years.

Since Joyce-Ann has worked for the Offices of the Grand Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon:

  • Over 145,000 Fraters have been initiated in to Tau Kappa Epsilon
  • TKE has held 19 different Conclaves
  • Worked for 7 different Executive Vice President/Chief Executive Officers
  • Worked at 3 different International Headquarters – 3755 Washington Boulevard, 8645 Founders Road, and 7439 Woodland Drive
  • Attended her first Conclave in 1979

Thank you Joyce-Ann Anderson for your dedication and service to the men of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity; we greatly appreciate the help, support, and kindness shown to our members over so many years.  We will miss you!
