Tau Kappa Epsilon International Fraternity Announces Key Personnel Changes

Tau Kappa Epsilon International Fraternity today announced the departure of Frater Shawn Babine as TKE CEO. Frater Babine had served as TKE CEO since May 2012 and had previously served on the Grand Council as Grand Hegemon and Grand Pylortes.

"Frater Babine has contributed greatly to TKE for many years whether it was as Fraternity CEO, Grand Council member, or key volunteer," said TKE Grand Prytanis Bob Barr. "We are also honored to announce that Frater Bruce Melchert will assume the role of interim CEO," said Barr. "Frater Melchert is highly regarded throughout TKE nation and has dedicated much of his professional life to serving Tau Kappa Epsilon."

Frater Bruce Melchert previously served as TKE CEO from 1960 to 1972. Both personnel moves will be effective Friday, January 3, 2014.
