Frater Michael Johnson Accepted into Yale University

Frater Michael Johnson (Alpha-Gamma, Washington State University) has been accepted into the very prestigious Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. The third oldest institution of higher education in the United States will be accepting a man who has a history of service and leadership within Tau Kappa Epsilon.

Frater Johnson has been an engaged alumnus of Tau Kappa Epsilon since graduating from WSU in 2010. During his collegiate years, he was a re-founding father of the Alpha-Gamma chapter and Chapter Prytanis. Recently he has served the Region 4 team by working as a Province Advisor in the Pacific Northwest.

"Having that experience in TKE not only boosted my confidence in taking on large projects, but it also showed me the importance of the values that we hold dear to our purpose in the Fraternity: fostering an environment for the development of servant leaders, instilling in them character and respect, and creating opportunities for individuals to realize their potential" said Johnson.

Michael Johnson is a tremendous representation of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity through his daily routine of living the values of TKE. With his work ethic and hopeful path, there is no telling where this Frater can end up in the future.

"The goal of the Fraternity is to prepare tomorrow's leaders, and create Better Men for a Better World. I know that I am a Better Man because of my involvement with TKE, and it is now my responsibility to do my part in making a Better World."

Michael will be pursuing a Masters of Environmental Management degree from Yale University beginning in the fall of 2014.
