What Does Headquarters Actually Do - Blueprint

Donald E. Aldrich
Chief Executive Officer

What is the Blueprint?

The Blueprint is a four year member development program that is administered through the Offices of the Grand Chapter. The Blueprint aligns with our ritual which has four stages in the life of a Teke.

The Four Stages are:

  1. Initiation
  2. Order of the Founders
  3. Knights of Classic Lore
  4. Fraternity for Life

Each stage of the Blueprint has tasks that relate to mental, moral, and social development of participants.

How can it help my group?

Groups who have successfully implemented the Blueprint have seen recruitment numbers rise, academic performance improve, alumni relations grow stronger, and retention of membership aided. The Blueprint makes the candidate education process much simpler as it gives a week-by-week guide to prepare candidates for initiation into Tau Kappa Epsilon. Many groups have used the Blueprint to show a potential candidate and their family to how TKE can benefit them in a tangible way.

How can the Blueprint help me individually?

The Blueprint challenges each individual to create their own curriculum and learning path throughout participation in the program. The Blueprint lays the road map for how you can improve and prepare for life after college. The program also allows you to learn at your own pace.

How is the Headquarters involved?

The Offices of the Grand Chapter processes applications for groups to join the Blueprint. Once a group is accepted, the Headquarters staff will install the program with a group or coordinate a volunteer to install the program with a group. All materials including Blueprint Books are at no cost to TKE members once accepted onto the program. Progress of each member can be tracked at www.mytke.org.
