THE TEKE - Fall 2014 Releases / Winter Content Due

INDIANAPOLIS – Every three months, Tau Kappa Epsilon releases its quarterly magazine, THE TEKE. The official publication of TKE features highlights throughout the nation including: chapter and colony news, alumni news, Buckwheat's Corner, Dress for Success and much more.

Fall Magazine En Route – Hot off the press: the fall edition of THE TEKE will be arriving in mailboxes over the coming week! For the first time in THE TEKE history, we have created Regional Covers highlighting four of the 2013-2014 Top TKE Chapter award winners. Above, you can see the chapters selected to represent their region. 

Fall 2014 Digital Edition Now Live – Can't wait for THE TEKE to get to you? We have good news! Moments ago, the digital edition of the magazine went live. You can visit theteke.org to get the full magazine. The digital edition of magazine is an interactive way to view THE TEKE. It includes clickable sections of the magazine and a mobile/tablet friendly view. Be sure to subscribe to THE TEKE using the i icon in the upper right hand corner to be the first to receive the digital magazine.

 


 

With the release of the fall magazine, we have already begun working on the winter edition of THE TEKE. To ensure your stories, nominations and events are shared with TKE, we ask for content to be submitted by September 1, 2014.

Winter Magazine Content Due – Do you have a story or event to share with TKE Nation? Content for the winter edition of THE TEKE is due September 1, 2014. You can email content to theteke@tke.org. Digital photos should be at least 300 dpi in resolution or on a digital camera's highest-quality setting. Please include information about events, community service projects and other notable achievements.

We are also seeking nominations for the following:

Volunteer of the Month – With hundreds of volunteers in the development and growth throughout TKE Nation, we want to take a moment to recognize three individuals who are going above and beyond in helping chapters and colonies achieve excellence. Submit your recommendation for Volunteer of the Month to theteke@tke.org. We ask you provide roughly 150-200 words describing the individual and what they have done to earn Volunteer of the Month.

Greek Life Administrator of the Quarter – Do you have a Greek Life Administrator on your campus who has been an influential figure in the success of your chapter or colony? Send us your nomination for Greek Life of the Quarter to theteke@tke.org. Please include roughly 150-200 words describing the individual and what they have done to earn Greek Life Administrator of the Quarter.

Everyday TKE Hero – Who is your Everyday TKE Hero? We want to know who in TKE Nation has inspired you to through acts of Love, Charity and Esteem. Submit your 100-150 word nomination to theteke@tke.org.

#IAMTKE – Do you want your Facebook posts, Tweets or Instagram photos featured in THE TEKE? Use #IAMTKE and tell us what you're doing on your campus or in the community to represent TKE. We'll be asking questions on our social media outlets for the next month, so be on the lookout.
