TKE and TEF Leadership Forging New Future Together

Fraters:

We, along with other representatives of the Grand Council, the TKE Educational Foundation, CEO of TKE, CAO of TEF, and Past Grand Prytani met last weekend in Indianapolis to forge a constructive dialogue regarding matters raised in recent communications.  The meeting was extremely successful and all parties present shared in our bond and departed with renewed excitement about the direction forward for the TKE Educational Foundation and our International Fraternity that it supports.

Our ideals of Love, Charity and Esteem were on full display in what was a very professional, respectful and candid discussion. The TKE Educational Foundation leadership made it crystal clear that they disagreed with the tone of the recent letter regarding the Grand Council. The Grand Council leadership made it clear that they are impressed and grateful for the work of the TEF leadership in hiring Interim CAO Don Campbell and enhancing the structure of the TEF. The TKE Educational Foundation representatives commended and acknowledged the great leadership of our Grand Council, Chief Executive Officer, and Professional Staff for guiding Tau Kappa Epsilon to the highly successful status that we occupy. Mutual confidence and trust were expressed by the Grand Council and the TEF Board toward working collaboratively together. Additionally, there was a reaffirmation of a commitment to work each day together to fund and achieve the strategic goals of our beloved Fraternity in creating Better Men for a Better World.

An action plan was created to forge a path that will immediately result in a joint strategic planning process among representatives of the Grand Council and the TEF Board. This plan will foster collaboration and improve upon the prioritization, funding and execution of goals and objectives of Tau Kappa Epsilon that the TKE Educational Foundation as a 501(c)(3) organization is permitted to fund. 

It is essential that all know that every man present for the discussion fully agreed to support this action plan and work shoulder to shoulder for the growth and success of our organization.  We fully anticipate all members of the Grand Council and TEF Board will do the same. Onward and upward for the success of our Fraternity!
